We believe that it is of the utmost importance to acknowledge the involvement and commitment of all the partners, organizations and people who have actively contributed to the implementation in Profweb of an area dedicated to the ICT Profile for College Students.
First we would like to thank the team from Profweb for its vision, openness, enthusiasm and dedication. By being part of a site such as Profweb, the ICT Profile stands in a prominent place. The ICT Profile team has benefited from the expertise of amazing people and their constant involvement greatly contributed in offering an ICT Profile zone within the agreed period, both with the design and with the uploading of the brand new section Frame of Reference where the ICT Profile is hosted.
We would also like to thank the team from Vitrine Technologie-Éducation (VTÉ) for adapting CERES following the ICT Profile for Students’ skills and for its technical support throughout the resource indexation process. Resources offered in the ICT Profile section are indexed in CERES, a collective catalog or teaching and learning resources. Two indexation keys were added, allowing the association of resources to categories specific to the ICT Profile (five types of resources) and to the ICT Profile skills.
The IT REP Network collaborates with many organizations and partners to identify the resources made available and those created by them and according to ICT Profile skills, notably: Profweb, Cégep à distance, AQPC, Futurs Profs, CCDMD, Diapason, ADTE, etc. These resources provide a wealth of information.
And finally, we want to thank all members of the ICT Profile team who participated in and who have carried out this project for many years. Thank you for your perseverance, your involvement and your commitment.
Publishing the bilingual website of ICTProfile.ca online is made possible by the financial support of the Ministère de l’Éducation, de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche and a grant as part of the Canada-Québec Agreement for Minority-Language Education and Second-Language Instruction.

The “ICT Profile for College Students” working team came together at the very first meeting of the IT REP Network in June 2005. The first working meeting of the team took place at Collège André-Grasset in October 2005. Since then, each year, the interest that colleges show for the ICT Profile for Students and the interest of the respondents to commit to its development and their participation in promoting its work justify the effort of its work team. To learn more about the highlights of the ICT Profile, go to the “History” page in the “About the ICT Profile” section.
We would like to emphasize that Skill 1 - Search for information, was created in collaboration with members of the documentary training of the REBICQ (Regroupement des bibliothèques collégiales du Québec) and with a member of the Projet Diapason. Since the completion of the ICT Profile in 2014, the IT REP Network and the REBICQ have been actively collaborating on various subjects related to the development of informational skills for college students.
We have tried to create a list of all persons who participated, directly or indirectly, in the ICT Profile team since its creation. If this list is incomplete, it is unintentional and we apologize. If you have participated in the team, please contact us to let us know. Please note that we included the name of the organization to which the member was associated at the time of his participation, reflecting the contribution of colleges and organizations from the college network in the development of the ICT Profile.
Here is the list of members of the IT REP Network and of the REBICQ, and of all other intervenors from the college network who participated in the ICT Profile team, from Winter 2005 to Winter 2015:
