In fact, with recent advances in technology, it is now possible to create ePorfolios that offer more benefits than the traditional paper-based version. While the ePorfolio is recognized as an educational tool in line with current approaches, the fact remains that its use requires careful planning—planning that must take various points into consideration.

<p>Academic 2013-2014 will be a decisive year for Profweb! A major overhaul of the site, both in form and in content, has been in the works for months. In this column, Séverine Parent, acting coordinator of Profweb, presents the main points that orient the creation of the new site. Exciting changes are coming! Eventually Profweb will better fulfill its mission, which is to be the crossroad of IT integration in the Quebec college network.</p>
