Norm Spatz has assembled a tour of a unique team-teaching experiment that has already produced innovative and enriching results. Since September 2006, Vanier College and the Cégep de Sept-Îles have been involved in an initiative to enhance the learning experience of students from both cegeps by giving them a chance to meet in the virtual world.

Jack Frost is not being gentle on the fine people of Quebec at this time of year. He’s making us a bit nostalgic for the summer. Fortunately, the team at the Association québécoise de pédagogie collégiale (AQPC)informed us last week that they have completed the translation of the summer edition of their journal Pédagogie collégiale. This time, the articles revolve around the theme of access to higher education. The diversity of topics, as well as their amazing depth illustrate that the editorial staff of the journal had a very busy summer.

Google is big news in DawsonITE this week. It is marketing special versions of products to 12 year olds, integrating with platforms like Doctopus, allowing you to edit Microsoft Office files in Gmail as well as to edit and sign your PDFs online.
