The article provides an overview of a REFAD workshop entitled L’utilisation et la création de livres électroniques dans un contexte pédagogique (Use and Design of eBooks in a Pedagogical Context) that was held on December 2nd, 2015. A link to a recording of the workshop (where you can also download the documentation) is included in this overview. The article also offers college-level resources related to eBooks. Finally, there are suggestions for a wide range of eBook tools: design and broadcasting platforms, style guide, etc.

The new approach of the 2014 ICT Student Profile has significant advantages. A transversal profile for "all programs, all colleges," it gives more flexibility to programs on the choice of software applications to use to master a skill, taking variations from one curriculum to another into account.

To help you develop the information and technological skills of your students a joint team from the IT Representatives' Network and Cégep à distance united to produce 43 video clips. Each capsule explains the step by step procedure required to perform a task associated with a skill from the ICT Profile such as writing a mediagraphy or respecting the principles of visual ergonomics in a computer-assisted presentation.

<p>Nicole Perreault of the IT Representatives’ Network has discussed the topic of digital plagiarism in colleges at length with teachers. In this column, Nicole presents an overview of different solutions that exist as well as some actions taken in the college network to prevent and detect digital plagiarism. She also invites teachers to submit their concerns about this topic.</p>
