The EdITLib Digital Library is the premiere online resource for aggregated, peer-reviewed research on the latest developments and applications in Educational Technologies and E-Learning. The CDC undertook a trial subscription and after evaluation from their team and the network, decided to add this database to their E-resources. Members of the Quebec college network can now write to info@cdc.qc.ca to receive a password to profit from this and the CDC’s many other resources.

Isabelle Laplante and Andrée Dagenais, librarians at the CDC (Centre de documentation collégiale) present Pinterest, which is a social media that focuses on visual content. In the college system, several institutions and organizations including the CDC have begun to use Pinterest. This resource has great potential for teachers to use in their courses.

What are the rights and duties of teachers who want to publish digital lecture notes? Isabelle Laplante, Librarian at the CDC, the college resource centre, explains what you can do to protect your rights as an author as well as the responsibilities that we all have to respect the rights of other authors. Always timely, this topic is also being explored as part of the Vitrine Technologie-Éducation's workshop on using digital textbooks (S'approprier le manuel numérique).
