The institutional version of Office 365 for Education is probably gaining ground in your college. According to the work plan of college ITREPS, a majority of colleges offer this online collaborative platform. We solicited the collaboration of 8 ITREPS from English and French colleges to document the deployment of the Microsoft Office 365 environment across the college network:

In December of 2017, the Quebec government unveiled its digital strategy [in French]. This strategy was developed with citizens, experts, enterprises and organisations from different horizons thanks to a collaborative platform. The results [in French] of this consultation present the concerns, needs, thoughts and ideas, in particular of the higher education stakeholders.

Allow me to present a nice example of intrapreneurship that benefits both, students of the Information and Library Technologies Program and the community of Lionel-Groulx College. Founded in the fall of 2016, the mandate of the GRECH TDCLG (Groupe de recherche en Techniques de la documentation du Collège Lionel-Groulx) Lionel-Groulx College Information Technologies Research Group is to carry out research activities on library trends in an extracurricular context.

I met with Bruno Lemieux, a visiting lecturer within the Department of Teaching and Learning at the Université Laval who is also a Pedagogical Counsellor at Collège Mérici. At the beginning of the Winter 2017 semester, Bruno invited the Profweb team to present itself to the next cohort of teachers. It was a wonderful opportunity to speak about the many resources that are made available to them as future teachers.
